How did "A Twisted Outlook" come about?
"A Twisted Outlook" is the final incarnation in a long line of experimental sites among the now defunct "JKDG" web ring, including "KJS's Homepage", "Give Me A Sign" (Now a feature on this site) and "The Gravy Stain" (R.I.P), created by myself - Kev Stewart - and my friends, mainly Darren Brown. I have finally settled with this one as something I will work on mainly on my own.

Why does the site appear all funny, with columns overlapping?
The site is designed for resolutions of 1024x768 and above. If your settings are below that, you probably have a very old computer or very poor eyesight, and we are sorry for either scenario. The solution is to change your resolution to something a bit less medieval.

How long has the site existed?
Since the long hot summer of 2005.

What are the major inspirations for the writings on the site?
Literally absolutely anything. If we feel that it is worth writing about, we will jolly well write about it! A lot of my personal inspiration comes from memories from my childhood, and therefore you should expect a lot of 80's references and imagery. Other than that, we just let our imaginations run wild, and I will publish anything that my friends write and want me to publish.

What is the point in this site?
There has to be a point?

Did you just answer a question with a question?
Yes.

So if there's no point to the site, why is it here?
Pure entertainment value, and the chance for me and my friends to express blunt and frank opinions on topics of our choice. Whether those topics be our passions or things we despise is entirely up to us. Ultimately, it's just a bit of fun.

Can I contribute to the site?
We're not currently looking for new writers but several of our regular features openly request visitor input and we appreciate it alot, so feel free.

How many people currently work on the site?
A few. People come and go, but the "credits" page is updated accordingly as they do, so looking there will answer that question.

Where do you get the pictures that you use?
We take some ourselves, we scan stuff in, we steal stuff from other sites (but shhhh, don't tell the teacher), there really is no specific answer to that question.

We like to bring stuff that you can't access elsewhere, so our preference is to use our own, when and if at all possible.

Bit of both.

You most certainly can. We appreciate Myspace adds and actively encourage them. In fact, get all of your friends to add us too!

What next for A Twisted Outlook?
We intend to keep going until no one likes us anymore. As long as we are wanted, we will keep on going exactly the way we are.
