Today I bring you one of the faces of a group who are one of the hottest properties on the internet today. This is KiKi : The Headsick Pinup Interview.
KJS : For those who may not know, who and what are Headsick Pinups?
KiKi : HeadsickPinups.com is a website of the most beautiful undead gore queens around. You can find everything from interviews with bands and horror actors, to movie and band reviews, videos of the girls shoots and of the hottest gore shoots around.
KJS : How did you get involved?
KiKi : Haha... this is actually a very funny story!!!
I was contacted by the owner on MySpace the night before my first shoot!!! A girl had backed out and it was my good fortune to get her spot!!!
KJS : What are the perks of being involved (people you've met, things you've done, places you've been etc)?
KiKi : I just love being able to do this. It's like my very own horror movie coming to life!!! But I have gotten to meet some very cool people through this... John Gulager (The Director of Feast), Irwen Keyes (From House of 1000 Corpses), Hugo V. (Music and Movie Director) and Kat Von Dee (L.A. Ink Shop Owner).
KJS : There are similiarities to other groups such as "Suicide Girls". Is there any kind of rivalry and, if so, is it friendly or hostile?
KiKi : The only similarity with the Suicide Girls is that we get naked. Other than that there is no rivalry between the 2 companies since we have 2 very different styles of shooting!!! I am actually very close with a couple of the Suicide Girls, so we all have fun with everything!!!

KJS : As a kid, what did you want be when you grew up and could you ever have envisaged doing what you do now?
KiKi : Growing up I always wanted to be in fashion design and as I grew up I was drawn to special FX makeup in horror movies. I never once thought I would be involved with something like this - but I'm glad I am!!!
KJS : Who is your best friend within Headsick Pinups and did you know any of the other girls before you joined?
KiKi : I actually have a few... Misi, Jackal and Dani!!! I love those girls to death!!! None of us knew each other before this, but I think I can speak for all of us when I say we're pretty good friends!!!
KJS : What's the craziest thing that's ever happened at a Headsick event?
KiKi : At our DVD release party we had some hardcore Christians start a fight, screaming all kind of things like "You're all going to hell!" and "Jesus wouldn't approve of your behaviour!" Hahaha... it was quite the scene.
KJS : Has anything embarrassing ever happened whilst you were on stage or on tour?
KiKi : Not really, but at the DVD show I gave my friend a hug after our performance was done and my tape stuck to his shirt and I had to walk around covering my boob!!!

KJS : You're obviously into horror; What are your top 5 favourite horror movies?
KiKi : There are so many that I love, this is gonna be a lil' hard!!!

KJS : What do you like to do in your spare time?
KiKi : I love going to shows, watching football and baseball, watching scary movies, going to karaoke and spending time with my friends and family... I'm really big on family!!!
KJS : What sort of music do you listen to?
KiKi : I have a very wide range of music... I listen to everything from rockabilly, bluegrass, and rock to classical, metal, jazz and acoustic!!! I couldn't live without the different variations of music.
KJS : Could you tell us one thing about yourself that not many people know?
KiKi : I think I can do that... Hahaha I'm a big time nerd/goofball!!! I have a collection of first edition comics and Barbies!!! Now the secret's out... Hahaha!!!
KJS : What would you like to be doing in 5 years time?
KiKi : I would love to be working the sets of horror movies doing the FX makeup!!!
KJS : With Halloween approaching, the Pinups must be pretty busy? Is there anything (events etc) that you would like to plug or promote?
KiKi : We do get very busy around this time of year, since we specialise in horror and gore!!! We are actually putting on our 2nd annual Halloween show on the 26th at the Blue Moon Nights in North Hollywood... We are all very excited!!!
