When we found out about a web series with the words "Ninja", "Babes" and "Space" in the title we were intrigued, so we decided to check it out and found a fun and quirky series that doesn't take itself too seriously.

We got in touch with the stars of said series and they kindly agreed to answer our questions. Here is the interview:-

Bethany and Jessah : Heeeey you guys!! It's Bethany (Sky) and Jessah (Ruby) here from "The Ninja Babes From Space." Thanks so much for asking us to be part of your site. We're totally stoked!!

KJS : No problem! Can you tell the world a little bit about each of the girls?

Jessah : We really are like our characters in some way. I would say Bethany is the most graceful like Sky, Katy is a leader and very cool like Tara, I am definitely the comedian like Ruby, and Trish is definitely as sexy as she looks!

KJS : And what about Ninja Babes From Space - For those new to the series, can you explain a little about it?

Bethany : Surely. We describe it as a Sci-fi/Comedy series. It's funny, sexy and cool. It's really campy but also has a lot of great things to offer. You can't take it seriously though, 'cause it doesn't work that way, hahaha! If you do you'll end up hating it. Just enjoy it and take it for what it's worth; Sexy ninjas kicking butt!

KJS : How did you all come together to become "Ninja Babes From Space"?

Jessah : We all auditioned. Bethany and I knew each other before Ninja Babes. We had a really bad theatre experience together so it was nice to do something that was this cool, fun, and had great production value.

Bethany : Yeah, it's awesome to work with Jessah again. But we all had to audition then went through some pretty interesting callback and in the end I think became a pretty kick ass 4 some.

KJS : Where did the idea come from?

Jessah : Dan's devious little mind! He is very smart because who doesn't like Ninjas, Babes, or Space!

Bethany : Yup, Dan Lantz. He's the creator and also our wonderful director. Some people that have watched the series call him the "Evil Genius." Nice, huh?

KJS : Did you all enjoy Sci-Fi before becoming Ninja Babes From Space?

Jessah : I love Sci-Fi! I watch Star Trek: Next Generation all the time and I love Sci-Fi thrillers. Sci-Fi has really seeped into everything nowadays so I am glad to be a part of it!

Bethany : I did! Actually I love the Sci fi channel. I used to live with guys that loved Stargate and would watch all those movies from the Sci-fi channel, so it was on a lot.

KJS : What do you enjoy most about being a Ninja Babe From Space?

Jessah : I really love getting to go to work and create this fun character Ruby. She says the things people wish they could say in real life situations, and she is always using humour. I can relate to that because I love to make people laugh!

Bethany : How can I not enjoy being a Ninja Babe?! Haha, no it's just a lot of fun. I love the whole fighting aspect of it. Is that bad to say?! Those boots are a pain though, but you get used to it.

KJS : Can you tell us anything funny or embarrassing that has happened on set?

Jessah : HAHA... the Ninja Babes burp and curse ALOT! We have some on the bloopers! We also made a Ninja Babes theme song that sounds like death metal. It's very silly and fun!

Bethany : Our Ninja Babe song rocked. I hope we get to record it one day. But really we had a lot of fun on set! Everyone had such a great chemistry together, not just the actors but with the crew as well. They are so awesome! We love the crew!

KJS : For anybody new to the series reading this, how often are new episodes made and how can people see them?

Bethany : Well our Valentine's Day Episode just came out. And it's really funny! But usually new episodes come out every two weeks. And NBS is all over the web. You can go to our website NinjaBabesFromSpace.com, or AtomFilms.com just to name a few sites. But the only way we can make more episode is if lots of people watch. KJS : Have each of you had any interesting jobs/roles before becoming Ninja Babes From Space?

Jessah : I was in a Lavalife commercial and whenever people from work see it they make fun of me. It was pretty cheesy, but a great learning experience!

KJS : Do you ever do live appearances? If so, where?

Bethany : We will be down in Orlando, Florida for MegaCon in March! We are so excited! It's my first convention so I am stoked. Its gonna be blast. You can find out all the info at www.megaconvention.com.

KJS : What roles in fiction would each of you like to play if you could choose any?

Jessah : I really wanted to play Tonks in the Harry Potter movies but since I am not British and they already cast the role I am screwed! I would love to play (if they made a live version of it) Kagero in Ninja Scroll. She is a badass poison taster!

Bethany : I agree with Jessah. I'm an uber Harry Potter geek. So I would love to play Hermione if I was younger.
